Job summary

Protech Site Services Ltd. is recruiting an HR Advisor to join the Brentwood regional operation for a leading residential developer.

The successful candidate will bring solid generalist HR experience with a strength in employee relations casework and provide day-to-day guidance to line managers on employment matters. You will act as the first point of contact, manage ER processes, maintain compliant policies, and work closely with HR Partners to drive fair outcomes.

Qualifications

• Solid, generalist HR background.
• Confident handling ER casework independently.
• Ability to influence at senior manager level.
• Self-motivated with resilience.
• Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted contact for line managers on employment law and contractual matters.
• Field day-to-day queries from managers by phone with timely advice.
• Prepare correspondence for informal and formal ER processes.
• Join meetings and hearings where support is needed.
• Track short and long term absence cases, working with managers to agree next steps.
• Keep thorough case records and advice logs.
• Work with HR Business Partners to hand cases over smoothly.
• Guide managers through grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Help managers close cases in line with policy and law.
• Review HR policies, procedures and letter templates.
• Look for opportunities to improve the wider HR service.
