Job summary

Howdens Joinery in Raunds, Northamptonshire, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to partner with operational leaders in a fast-paced warehousing environment. You will provide coaching, guidance and support on people matters, specialising in employee relations and union engagement, while ensuring compliance and best practice.

You will analyse people data to inform decisions, influence leaders, and support organisational change.

Qualifications

• Degree-educated or equivalent business-related qualification.
• Working towards or already holding CIPD membership.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present people data.
• Advanced IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver people-focused solutions that support business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law.
• Build effective working relationships with Trade Union representatives and support a positive ER climate.
• Analyse people data and trends to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, L&D and Employee Relations to deliver excellent HR service.
