United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory Limited is seeking an HR Advisor to support HR Business Partners with a first-line advisory service on people issues, ensuring policy compliance and effective service delivery.

The role involves coaching managers, handling case management, absence management, and contributing to organisational change while maintaining compliance with employment law. Flexibility to work at Risley or Preston with at least one day per week on Preston site.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or working towards; extensive knowledge of employment legislation.
• Strong team working skills and ability to proactively build relationships.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to legal notes, reports and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound HR advice and coach line managers in line with HR processes and policies.
• Deliver efficient case management and advise on employee relations issues.
• Guide managers on absence management and health-related cases.
• Collaborate with HR Support Team to provide prompt advice and support.
• Utilise HR metrics to monitor trends and compile data packs.
• Advise on job design, recruitment, onboarding, restructuring and redeployment.
• Support cross-functional HR activities and participate in organisational change projects.
• Contribute to risk governance and assurance processes for HR.
