Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business, or Psychology with a strong interest in Employee Relations.
• Experience or willingness to learn UK employment law and ACAS best practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle sensitive issues confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support in managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, and performance-related matters, from intake to resolution.
• Prepare case documentation, investigation notes, and formal correspondence with confidentiality.
• Track case progress, timelines, and outcomes, escalating risks to senior ER colleagues as needed.
• Support investigations by gathering evidence, arranging hearings, and liaising with witnesses, managers, and employee representatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Occupational Health, Legal, and people managers on ER matters.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis of recurring ER issues and help design proactive interventions to reduce case volumes.
