Job summary

SIG plc is a leading supplier of specialist building materials with a strong focus on HR service delivery. The HR Advisor will act as the HR face to the business, delivering timely advice and administrative support to employees and line managers across a wide range of HR queries and processes.

You will build strong relationships with leaders and HR colleagues, support policy reviews, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements while maintaining high levels of service and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Formal HR qualification preferred, or qualified through experience.
• Experience of HR administration and advisory work across a broad range of processes.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems and reporting capabilities.
• Generalist HR advisory experience across a range of HR activities.

Responsibilities

• Build excellent working relationships with Business Leaders, HR Team, employees and key stakeholders.
• Provide a professional first line advisory and administrative service to employees across HR queries and processes.
• Support internal policy and process reviews.
• Manage delivery of assigned tasks within personal workload and escalate where required.
• Use the HR system to record and maintain accurate activity records.
