St Edward's School, Oxford is looking for a full-time HR Advisor to join their busy HR team. In this role, you will provide vital HR support across the school and assist with employee relations matters.

St Edward’s has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join its busy, supportive HR team and play a key role delivering a responsive, high-quality HR service across the school.
As HR Advisor, you will be a trusted first point of contact for managers and staff, providing day to day HR advice and guidance. You will support a range of employee relations matters, including absence management, probation reviews, disciplinary and grievance processes, whilst helping to ensure policies and procedures are applied fairly, consistently and in line with best practice.
You’ll also play an important role in the smooth delivery of HR operations. Responsibilities will include preparing contracts and correspondence, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting payroll changes, producing HR reports and supporting recruitment activities during busy periods. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to HR projects, process improvements and staff engagement initiatives.
You’ll bring previous HR experience of providing advice to managers, maintaining accurate HR records and supporting with employee relations matters. You should have, or be working towards, a CIPD Level 3 qualification, with a good understanding of employment law, ACAS guidance and HR best practice.
Experience in a school or similar environment would be helpful, but what matters most is that you are organised, professional, committed to safeguarding and keen to develop your HR career in a supportive, values‑led setting.
