Job summary

GXO Logistics is looking for an HR professional who can support managers with recruitment, onboarding and employee relations in a fast-paced environment. You will help deliver the HR People Plan, drive engagement initiatives and coach managers on policies and processes.

The role requires CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards it, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills to operate across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced HR environment with broad generalist HR activities.
• Strong employee relations knowledge and ability to advise and coach line managers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational managers on recruitment, onboarding, absence management and performance matters.

• Partner with operational managers on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, absence management and performance-related matters

• Provide practical HR advice and coaching to managers, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures
• Support talent development activities including appraisals, succession planning, leadership development and training workshops
• Produce management information and support compliance with employment legislation, HR policies and payroll processes
• Experience working in a fast-paced HR environment with exposure to a broad range of generalist HR activities
• Strong employee relations knowledge and confidence in advising and coaching line managers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while taking ownership of your workload
• CIPD qualified or willing to work towards a professional HR qualification

Job Details

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. We're looking to offer a salary of up to £37,169.50 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
