Job summary

Equans in the United Kingdom is seeking a HR Advisor to join the team covering the Midlands and Wales on a 6 month fixed-term contract. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with hybrid working and site travel.

You will provide first-line HR support, coach line managers, support policy launches, and contribute to attendance, performance and engagement initiatives across circa 1,600 colleagues. Experience in TUPE, change management and UK employment law is essential, with ability to travel

Qualifications

  • Significant HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of TUPE and contract mobilisation.
  • Operational HR advisory experience.
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line HR support to line managers and staff.
  • Coach line managers to build capability and leadership ownership.
  • Advise on grievance and disciplinary action and attend hearings as needed.
  • Generate attendance reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support month-end HR data reporting and policy launches.
