Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking an HR Advisor for a 6-month maternity cover based in Shepton Mallet. The role is hybrid, requiring two days in the office and the rest remotely, with hours aligned to 9:00–17:30 or 8:30–17:00 (minimum 30 hours per week).

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (preferred, not required).
• At least 2 years' HR generalist experience.

• Ability to support onboarding and benefits.

We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a solar energy company for an Interim HR Advisor to join their friendly and supportive HR team on a 6-month maternity cover contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships and making a genuine difference to the employee experience.

About the Role

Working as part of a close-knit HR team of four, you'll play an important role in providing a responsive and people-focused HR service across the business.

This is a varied generalist position where no two days are quite the same. You'll be trusted to hit the ground running, manage day-to-day HR matters confidently and contribute ideas that help drive positive change across the organisation.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar HR generalist role
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day HR and employee relations
• Confidence dealing with sensitive or challenging situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative
• The confidence to work independently and make an impact from day one
• A genuine passion for supporting employees and creating a positive workplace
