Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd, recruiting on behalf of a solar energy company, seeks an Interim HR Advisor for a 6-month maternity cover based in Shepton Mallet. The role is hybrid—two days in the office and the remaining days remote—with an hourly rate of £18.00–£20.30 per hour.

We are looking for an experienced HR generalist who will handle day-to-day HR matters, onboarding, employee relations and benefits, while contributing to strategy and employee experience.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (preferred not required)
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar HR generalist role
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day HR and employee relations
• Confidence dealing with sensitive or challenging situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative
• The confidence to work independently and make an impact from day one
• A genuine passion for supporting employees and creating a positive workplace

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships and making a genuine difference to the employee experience.

About the Role

Working as part of a close-knit HR team of four, you'll play an important role in providing a responsive and people-focused HR service across the business.

This is a varied generalist position where no two days are quite the same.

You'll be trusted to hit the ground running, manage day-to-day HR matters confidently and contribute ideas that help drive positive change across the organisation.
