Perth College UHI is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR & OD team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. The role will provide operational support while implementing enhanced HR systems, including LMS, onboarding and analytics.

You will advise managers and staff across employee relations, absence, recruitment, contracts and policy development, contributing to service improvements and HR modernisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven HR advisory experience with strong employment law knowledge.
• Excellent organisational skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities.
• Experience implementing HR systems and analytics is desirable.

Job Summary

HR Advisor

Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 Months

35 hours per week (1 FTE)

£41,953.62 - £47,038.29 per annum

UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR & OD team on a fixed-term basis. This role has been created to provide additional operational support whilst we implement and embed a range of enhanced HR systems, including our new Learning Management System (LMS), onboarding and analytics functionality, alongside a wider programme of HR service improvement.

As a generalist HR professional, you will provide practical advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities, including employee relations, absence management, recruitment, contracts, policy development and HR reporting. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to exciting HR modernisation projects, helping to improve systems, processes and the overall employee experience.

We are looking for someone with proven HR advisory experience, strong employment law knowledge, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering high-quality customer-focused HR services.
