Job summary

HSS ProService in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support managers and staff across the business. You’ll take ownership of employee relations, apply policy, and provide practical guidance to keep teams moving in a fast-paced environment.

This role blends casework, employment law application, stakeholder management, and data-informed improvements. It offers flexible, hybrid working, with a focus on collaboration, development, and delivering clear, consistent HR support

• Solid experience in an HR Advisory role within a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• Practical, solutions-focused mindset that moves issues forward.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stay organised under pressure.
• Confidence using HR systems and data to guide decisions.
• Collaborative, people-first attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Supporting front-line managers with employee relations queries and casework, giving clear, practical guidance.

A typical day as a HR Advisor

No two days look exactly the same here, and that's part of what makes it work.

As an HR Advisor, you'll play a key part in keeping things moving for our customers, suppliers and The Pros around you. You'll take ownership, solve problems properly, and work with people across the business to make things simpler, faster and better.

You'll be trusted to get stuck in, make decisions, and see things through.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting front-line managers with employee relations queries and casework, giving them clear, practical guidance they can act on

• Applying employment legislation and company policy with confidence, so advice is consistent and gets things right first time

• Building strong relationships with leaders, developing a real understanding of how each part of the business works

• Contributing to HR projects that support our wider people strategy

• Using data to spot trends and suggest improvements in how we engage and keep The Pros around

• Supporting consistency in how people processes work across multiple divisions

• Collaborating closely with other HR colleagues to deliver joined-up support across recruitment, learning and operations
