We're delighted to be supporting a highly respected, market-leading organisation in their search for an HR Advisor to join their small, dynamic and forward-thinking HR team.

This is a genuinely varied generalist HR role, giving you the opportunity to work across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee wellbeing and wider people projects.

You'll work closely with managers, supervisors and employees across the business, providing practical HR advice and helping managers navigate everything from performance and absence management through to disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working and family leave.

You'll also play an important role in recruitment and selection, working with hiring managers and recruitment partners to identify and attract great people, whilst contributing to projects designed to continually improve the employee experience.

This is an organisation where people really are at the heart of the business. It's a place that values development, autonomy, collaboration and doing things properly, whilst still believing that work should be enjoyable.

If you're looking for a role where you can build on your HR experience, broaden your skills and work as part of a supportive team that genuinely values what HR brings to the business, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Keeping up to date with employment legislation and applying your knowledge in a practical, commercially aware way
  • Supporting the full end-to-end recruitment and selection process, from creating job specifications through to interviews, offers and onboarding
  • Working closely with recruitment partners to build talent pipelines and attract high-quality candidates
  • Supporting hiring managers with interview best practice and effective selection decisions
  • Overseeing onboarding and supporting employees throughout the wider employee lifecycle
  • Supporting performance management, probation reviews, benefits and employee development activity
  • Contributing to HR projects, wellbeing initiatives and continuous improvement across the HR function
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and systems, producing reports and using data to support informed decision-making
  • Working closely with the wider HR team to ensure policies, processes and practices remain effective and compliant
  • Getting involved across the HR function and supporting colleagues wherever needed — this is very much a team environment
