An established industry player is seeking an HR professional to support their Employee Services Team. This role is pivotal in delivering a modern HR service that aligns with the organization's vision of community safety. To support the HR Manager Resourcing & Employee Services to ensure the delivery of an effective support service to the HR Advisory Department.
To ensure the Employee Services* Team delivers a modern, professional, and responsive HR service to support the vision and mission outlined below:

Experience and Qualifications
Essential
Applicants must provide evidence by the closing date for application that they meet the following criteria:
1. Either:
Possess a degree-level qualification and
Have current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Associate level (Assoc CIPD) or above, and
Have at least two years’ experience working in a HR function within a large, complex, multi-site, multi-disciplinary organization, including:
provision of employee services and production of HR statistics and reports.
OR:
Possess a degree-level qualification and be working towards achieving professional membership of CIPD, and
Have at least four years’ experience working in a HR function within a large, complex, multi-site, multi-disciplinary organization, including:
provision of employee services and production of HR statistics and reports.
2. Experience providing professional HR advice to managers on employee services issues.
3. A sound understanding of current employment legislation.
4. Can demonstrate:
(a) excellent planning and organisational skills;
(b) ability to produce accurate work;
(c) excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to advise senior management;
(d) a strong customer orientation.
5. Experience using Windows and other Microsoft applications.
6. Possess a full, current UK driving licence or have access to transportation that enables fulfilling the full requirements of the job.
Desirable
1. Experience managing and leading a team within an HR service.
2. Experience reviewing and improving HR processes and working practices.
