Job summary

KaneHR is recruiting an HR Advisor to join a varied consultancy portfolio across ambitious organisations. You’ll provide first-line HR advice, support employee relations, and help with projects that shape people experience and change.

You'll work with managers and employees to deliver practical, commercially focused HR solutions, maintain compliant HR documentation, and contribute to recruitment campaigns and reward benchmarking. A CIPD qualification is preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or working towards it.
• Experience as HR Advisor or strong HR administration background.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees across a portfolio of clients.
• Supporting employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability and redundancy matters.
• Assisting clients with employment law queries and helping them make confident, commercially sound people decisions.
• Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters, policies, handbooks, employee communications and other HR documentation.
• Maintaining HR systems, employee records and compliance processes, ensuring clients remain compliant and well organised.
• Conducting right to work, reference, DBS and other compliance-related checks where required.
• Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted extension of their team.

What We're Looking For

• CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
• Previous HR Advisor experience, or a strong HR administration background with a desire to progress.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Confidence managing a varied workload and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
