  • Handling core HR administration including absence management, contractual changes, holiday records, and time & attendance data.
  • Supporting training activity, helping coordinate courses, bookings and compliance with the site training plan.
  • Managing temp‑to‑perm reviews and ensuring employment decisions are aligned with attendance and performance.
  • Working with managers on employee relations matters, including investigations, review meetings and general HR queries.
  • Collating HR metrics, producing reports and supporting improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Helping to deliver employee engagement activities and supporting the site leadership team with day‑to‑day admin.

  • 4–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills

  • Ability to analyse data and produce accurate HR reports (advanced Excel is beneficial)
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently when required
