Job summary

Outsource UK in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking two HR Advisors to join a busy People Services team supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation. You will provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of people matters.

Working within a fast-paced, unionised environment, the role offers hybrid working with 3–4 days on site and a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
• Good knowledge of HR policies, procedures and UK employment law.
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or unionised environment is desirable.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage HR queries and employee relations cases.
• Support the delivery of HR policies, procedures and people processes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
