What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Advise and guide managers on employee relations matters
  • Review, streamline, and update HR processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies while ensuring full compliance
  • Proactively monitor HR metrics such as employee headcount, turnover, and absence, and provide management information to the HR Manager
  • Support and develop your HR Administrator and the wider HR team
  • Support the immediate and long-term needs of the site while delivering the HR Strategy and the people plan

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience dealing with trade unions and collective agreements
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and change management (evidence through handling occupational health referrals, long-term sickness, and absence case management)
  • A passionate and proactive approach — getting things done efficiently
  • Experience in FMCG, logistics, or operations sectors
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
