Job summary

Argyll and Bute Council is seeking a permanent HR Adviser - Attendance & Wellbeing to join the Employee Relations Team. This 35-hour week role sits in a supportive environment where you will partner with managers to improve attendance, wellbeing and workplace outcomes.

The post is full-time, with a negotiable location within Argyll and Bute, offering remote or hybrid options. Occasional travel across the wider area and attendance at meetings and events are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in attendance or absence management and employee relations casework.
• CIPD Level 3 in HR Management is essential.
• Good understanding of employment law and ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support attendance management and wellbeing initiatives in partnership with managers.
• Analyse attendance data and trends; support meetings and policy development.
• Deliver training and guidance to managers; assist with system implementations.
