Job summary

Sapientia Education Trust is seeking an organised HR Administrator to join our busy HR team at Wymondham College. You will provide administrative support across HR activities and help coordinate recruitment and onboarding.

This permanent, full-time role offers opportunities to prepare induction paperwork, manage training records, produce workforce reports, and maintain confidential HR records.

Qualifications

  • Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths GCSE.
  • Proficient in ICT, databases and MS Office (Access, Excel, Word).
  • Experience in HR or education environment desirable.
  • Familiar with MHR iTrent MIS is an advantage; full training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activity, including interview scheduling and documents.
  • Support onboarding processes and pre-employment checks.
  • Prepare induction paperwork and coordinate training records.
  • Provide administrative support to HR Managers and the wider HR team
  • Coordinate investigations, formal meetings and casework processes
  • Prepare correspondence, including meeting invitations and outcome letters
  • Take accurate meeting notes and minutes
  • Produce reports and workforce data analysis as required

HR Administrator

Location: Wymondham College, Wymondham

Salary : £26,403 - £28,142 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

We are seeking an organised, proactive and professional individual to join our busy HR team as an HR Administrator . This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of HR activities across our growing Trust.

THE ROLE

the HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across the HR function, helping to coordinate recruitment activity, support employee relations processes and contribute to the effective delivery of HR services across the Trust.

The role includes the following:

  • Coordinating recruitment activity, including arranging interviews and preparing recruitment documentation.
  • Supporting onboarding processes and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
  • Preparing induction paperwork and coordinating mandatory training records.
  • Providing administrative support to HR Managers and the wider HR team
  • Coordinating investigations, formal meetings and casework processes
  • Preparing correspondence, including meeting invitations and outcome letters.
  • Taking accurate meeting notes and minutes.
  • Producing reports and workforce data analysis as required
  • Maintaining confidential HR records and documentation

The qualifications and previous experience required of the HR Administrator are:

  • A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE.
  • Have a sound track record of good quality administration and be proficient in ICT database and software systems, particularly Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Word;
  • Experience of an HR or education environment would be beneficial, but not a requirement;
  • Previous experience of the MHR iTrent MIS would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
