Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a HR Administrator to join Ivetsey Bank Hospital in Staffordshire. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and a salary of £29,428.21 (FTE), pro rata.

You will provide confidential admin support, keep the HR system updated, manage compliance checks, minutes for meetings, and assist recruitment with central talent acquisition and onboarding teams. An Enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience within a HR Admin role preferable but not essential.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to tasks.
• Computer literate with good Microsoft Word knowledge.
• Independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Ambitious person, who is driven and determined to achieve objectives.
• An ability to listen, learn and act to problem solve, influence and question.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential administration support and ensure HR system is updated.
• Ensure all compliance checks are completed in a timely manner and issues raised with Hospital Director and regional HR Advisor.
• Provide accurate minutes for disciplinary/grievance and investigation meetings.
• To provide minutes for other managers who use the services’ facilities for disciplinary meetings.
• Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of all documentation relating to colleague holidays, sickness, and absence.
• Provide regular information to the Hospital Director and other relevant line managers on colleague sickness, in accordance with Company Policy.
• To be responsible for assisting with the recruitment procedures including liaison with the central talent acquisition and onboarding teams to ensure adverts are posted, short-listing takes place in a timely manner, interviews arranged, and offers are sent.
• Monitor training compliance, ensuring colleagues are booked onto training in a timely manner and that they attend.
• Providing support to colleagues on Active Learning Hub.
