Job summary

Active Care Group is looking for a Clinical Team Leader (RMN) at Ivetsey Bank CAMHS hospital in Stafford. You will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensure high-quality, patient-centred care and supervise staff to meet planned outcomes.

You will act as lead nurse through assessment to discharge and liaise with families and carers, while maintaining 24/7 service coverage. Applicants should hold a current NMC pin and have the right to work in the U.K.; CAMHS experience is desirable.

• A current NMC Pin registration.
• Legal right to work in the U.K.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing team with high-quality, person-centred care.
• Supervise and develop staff to ensure best practice.
• Act as lead nurse from admission to discharge.
• Take charge of the clinical area as needed.
• Maintain communication with patients, relatives and carers.
• Work flexibly to cover 24-hour services.
• Adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

Ivetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18 with a diagnosed mental health condition. Where you'll be working:

• 37.63 Hours Rota'd Days/ Nights/ Weekends

What you'll be doing:

• Providing clinical leadership to nursing team and ensure the provision of high qualityindividualised person centre standards of care are delivered to all patients.
• Ensure the effective supervision and development of staff
• To work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes
• To act as the lead nurse in the assessment, implementation of care through to point of discharge
• To take charge of clinical area
• To take a lead on developing and maintaining communication with patients relatives, families and carers
• To adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.
• To work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
