Cummins Inc is seeking an organised HR Administrator for an 8-week temporary assignment in the education sector. The role focuses on day-to-day HR and recruitment support, requiring strong administration and meticulous attention to detail.

You’ll handle HR enquiries, maintain confidential records, assist with starters/leavers, and coordinate recruitment activities. DBS checks may be required, and previous school administration experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • Previous HR or school administration experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact for routine HR enquiries and providing day-to-day administrative support.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
  • Supporting starters, leavers, contract changes, references, inductions and pre-employment checks.
  • Keeping relevant records and checks up to date.
  • Supporting recruitment activity, including application checks, preparing interview information, arranging interviews and coordinating diaries.
  • Preparing offer letters and ensuring information is accurately recorded.
  • Updating systems with employee and candidate information.
  • Liaising with candidates, employees and managers by phone and email.
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
  • You'll be organised, reliable and confident managing a busy workload where accuracy, confidentiality and good communication are really important.

We're working with an established organisation within the education sector that is looking for an organised and detail-focused HR Administrator to join their team on an 8-week temporary assignment. This is a varied administrative role supporting the day-to-day running of HR and recruitment processes. Previous HR experience isn't essential. We're looking for someone who is a really strong administrator, highly organised, confident coordinating people and processes, and has excellent attention to detail.,
