Job summary

West Bromwich Building Society is seeking an HR Admin Team Leader to drive the HR administration function and lead a team of HR Administrators. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, data integrity, and compliant HR practices while delivering first-line support to colleagues and managers.

You will supervise the HR Admin team, manage system records, and collaborate across HR to support projects and policy implementation with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration or Shared Services setup.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in HR.
• Payroll experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR administration processes and payroll transactions.
• Maintain and administer HR systems and employee records.
• Provide first-line HR support to colleagues and managers.
• Escalate complex queries and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead, support and develop the HR Administration team.
• Administer rewards, pensions, and benefits schemes.
• Produce and analyse HR reports for decision making.
• Identify process improvements and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with HR functions on projects and policy implementation.
