Job summary

Serco Nottingham East invites applications for a Housing Officer role supporting the AASC contract. You will manage property standards, complete monthly inspections, provide welfare signposting, and handle issues raised via the AIRE services. A UK driving licence is required and a company car is provided.

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in IA accommodation. Serco offers a benefits package including pension, holidays, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a service environment with good communication skills.
• Experience in property-related environments is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and IT skills (MS Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage conflict and stay organised.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core Service User support under the AASC contract.
• Induct new Service Users to IA and explain services, safety, and complaints procedures.
• Respond to requests via AIRE Services and manage incidents and repairs.
• Complete monthly inspections of IA properties and report on maintenance.
