Job summary

Stevenage Borough Council is seeking an experienced Business Improvement Manager within Housing Insight and Performance to lead transformational change across Housing and Neighbourhood and Building Safety teams. You will drive efficiency, embed new digital ways of working and deliver measurable improvements for residents.

You will work with senior leaders to develop business cases, manage risks and guide policy development while ensuring customer voice informs change and service delivery remains

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering business improvement, organisational change or transformation projects, ideally in housing/local government.
• Able to translate ideas into practical, measurable improvements.
• Strong analytical skills using data and customer insight to drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex business improvement and transformation projects across Housing and Neighbourhood and Building Safety units.
• Drive implementation of new legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Review and redesign housing processes to improve customer experiences and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline services through digital transformation.
• Develop and governance arrangements to support project delivery.
