Job summary

Abri is hiring for a Tenancy Support Services role aimed at helping customers settle, stay secure and confident in their homes. You will support benefit claims, budgeting and money guidance, travelling across the South East to visit customers and link them to services.

You’ll work with Income, Neighbourhood and Community Safety teams to sustain tenancies, with safeguarding and proactive welfare support at the core. Abri values inclusion and community resilience.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in housing, welfare benefits, debt advice or a related area.
• Knowledge of housing management, welfare benefits and tenancy-related legislation.
• Strong communication, empathy and professionalism.
• Organised, able to prioritise a busy workload and work independently.
• Good Microsoft Office skills and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, tailored support with benefit claims, income maximisation, budgeting and money guidance.
• Travel across the South East region to visit customers and connect them with services.
• Respond to welfare and safeguarding concerns and work with partners for joined-up support.
• Advise on housing options, housing register, mutual exchanges, transfers and downsizing.
