Job summary

Papworth Trust is seeking a Team Leader – Housing Management to guide frontline Housing Officers and the Housing Income Officer from Papworth Everard and Huntingdon, with hybrid working between office and home. You will blend people leadership with strategic housing operations to deliver a customer-first service and ensure affordable, well-managed homes for our residents.

Experience in tenancy management, rent arrears and collaboration with local authorities is essential, as is a CIH

Salary: £39,643.50 per annum

Location: OFFICE: Papworth Everard & Huntingdon (Hybrid working Office/Home mix)

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00)

As our Team Leader – Housing Management, you’ll guide, mentor, and empower our frontline Housing Officers and Housing Income Officer. Working from Papworth Everard/ Huntingdon with hybrid flexibility, you will blend supportive people leadership with strategic housing operations to deliver an exceptional, customer-first service.

How you’ll make an impact

• Lead & Mentor: Support, coach, and develop your team through regular supervision and goal setting, fostering an accountable, positive culture across all tenancy management services.
  
• Drive Housing Operations & Income: Work dynamically as a Housing Services Team Leader to market and re-let empty homes efficiently, while proactively managing rent arrears to protect vital charitable income.
  
• Empower Communities & Residents: Act as our Tenancy & Community Team Leader, partnering with local authorities and tenant groups to handle tenancy sustainment, anti-social behavior, and complex cases through collaborative solutions.
  
• Demonstrate Social Value: Turn feedback and complaints into continuous service improvements, capturing real case studies that showcase the life-changing impact of our supported housing services.
