Job summary

Hyde Group in Brent is seeking a Housing Team Leader to lead and support a frontline housing team, delivering a proactive, customer-focused service for residents and stakeholders.

You will manage and develop a team, guiding on complex housing matters and ensuring services are delivered effectively, in line with performance targets and contractual requirements. The role emphasises continuous improvement and strong stakeholder liaison.

Qualifications

• Proven line management experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience delivering housing services in line with legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support the team in handling complex housing matters, fostering a strong performance culture to meet targets and resolve enquiries at the first point of contact.
• Investigate and resolve complaints about Housing and ASB services, liaising with the Partners and external stakeholders when required.
• Maximise the value of resident interactions by encouraging the team to identify wider issues and make appropriate referrals to external agencies.
• Oversee tenancy changes, including assignments, successions, mutual exchanges and unauthorised occupation, ensuring they are handled efficiently and in line with contractual requirements and customer expectations.

Housing Team Leader

Location : Brent

Salary : £40,400 to £45,000

Fixed Term Contract / Secondment until December 2028

Hyde is looking for a Housing Team Leader to lead and support a frontline housing team, helping to deliver a proactive, customer-focused service for our customers.

As a Housing Team Leader at Hyde, you will manage and develop a team, providing guidance on complex housing matters and ensuring services are delivered effectively, in line with performance targets, contractual requirements and customer expectations.

You will also drive the delivery of a comprehensive housing service that meets the needs and expectations of residents and stakeholders, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key Duties
