Our client is looking for an experienced Housing Systems Project Manager to join our Housing Needs and Homelessness Service on a contract basis.
This is a key project delivery role focused on housing systems implementation, digital transformation and service improvement. You will be responsible for the digital implementation of the Temporary Accommodation Management System (TAMS) replacement programme, and will support the implementation of the NEC Housing System.
Working closely with operational and technical colleagues, you will ensure that new systems are successfully implemented, adopted and embedded, while delivering improvements to processes, efficiency and service outcomes.
As Housing Systems Project Manager, you will take a hands‑on approach to managing complex systems and transformation activity from planning and requirements through to implementation and benefits realisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
We are looking for an experienced Housing Systems Project Manager, Systems Project Manager, Digital Project Manager or Business Change professional who can hit the ground running.
You will have a proven track record of delivering complex systems implementation or technology-enabled change projects, ideally within housing, homelessness, local government or another public‑sector environment.
You will have:
Experience with TAMs, NEC Housing or similar housing management/homelessness systems would be highly desirable.
Knowledge of Housing Needs and Homelessness services, statutory homelessness duties and the wider housing environment would also be advantageous.
A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent would be desirable.
