YMCA Dulverton Group in Minehead is seeking bank staff to provide housing support for people experiencing homelessness, helping them maintain independent accommodation. You will work with customers to build positive relationships and model supportive behaviours.

The role requires comfort with lone work, dealing with complex behaviours, and adherence to safeguarding practices, including Enhanced DBS and two references as part of safer recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Housing Support for people experiencing homelessness.
• Work collaboratively to support customers and build trusting relationships.
• Model, teach and encourage positive behaviours to help customers manage independent accommodation.
• Be comfortable working alone and able to handle complex and challenging behaviours.
• Contribute to safeguarding and follow enhanced DBS checks and references.
