Job summary

YMCA DownsLink Group is seeking Bank Supported Housing Support Workers to join our Worthing Foyer team. The role involves providing practical and emotional support to young people aged 16-25 in a 24/7, trauma-informed setting.

You will work with experienced teams across day and night shifts, building relationships, signposting to education, employment, budgeting and health resources, and helping residents achieve greater independence and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to residents.
• Build positive relationships with young people to help them navigate challenges.
• Offer guidance and signposting on housing, budgeting, independent living, education, health and wellbeing.
• Contribute to safe and effective day-to-day running of the service and ensure consistency and reliability.
