Job summary

YMCA Dulverton Group in Minehead is seeking enthusiastic, honest and hardworking people to join our Young Persons’ Housing team. You will work with young people to provide supported accommodation and build positive, trusting relationships to help them develop and progress.

We emphasise safeguarding, equality and inclusion, and some roles involve lone-working. A comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities are offered to support wellbeing and growth.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with young people to provide supported accommodation and build professional, positive and trusting relationships.
• Model, teach and encourage positive behaviours to help young people develop independence and fulfil their potential.
• Understand and work with complex and challenging behaviours, including lone-working when required.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare through a safer recruitment process and DBS checks.
