Job summary

BRC Jobs in Cornwall is seeking a Housing Support Worker to join the Supported Housing team on a temporary 2-month contract. You will support clients to develop independence, confidence and living skills in order to move into suitable independent accommodation.

The role includes acting as a keyworker, liaising with external agencies, maintaining records and following Support Plans. On-call duties may be required with a weekly supplement.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years experience in supported living or similar
• Enhanced DBS in date and valid for role
• Driver with access to a car is essential

Responsibilities

• Support clients to develop personal, social and living skills.
• Assist with budgeting, appointments, bills and meal planning.
• Liaise with Mental Health Services, Housing Associations and other agencies.
