We are offering a flexible working pattern, including part-time options, with 37 hours per week on a rota that includes some weekends. The role is identified by reference number 11173.

Our housing support and care at home service empower young individuals to live independently within their communities. We provide full-time, 2:1 care for young people with learning disabilities, some of whom face challenging behaviors and hold their own tenancies.
The role involves assisting with daily routines, personal care, and medication, while engaging young people in activities like walks, swimming, surfing, and exploring new experiences. You will create and implement personalized care plans, supporting their journey towards independence and community engagement.
No extensive experience or qualifications are required; a positive attitude and commitment to caring for children and young people are essential. Ideally, candidates will have or be working towards a HNC and SVQ 3 in social care or equivalent, and be willing to participate in relevant training.
Other qualities include managing difficult situations, supporting and caring for young people, and working on a rota pattern that includes weekends and some bank holidays.
