Job summary

BDS (Northern) Limited in Exeter is seeking a housing support worker to help veterans and others facing homelessness in the local area. You will provide holistic, solution-focused support and work within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a valid enhanced DBS, a driving licence with access to a vehicle, and a commitment to safeguarding. You will manage a workload of 5–8 clients and collaborate with partner agencies to explore education, training and employment options.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Passion for helping people in the local community.
• Current enhanced DBS check required.
• Must hold an enhanced DBS check.
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.

Overview

BDS have a fantastic opportunity for a housing support worker in Exeter and surrounding area.

Contract & Compensation

Hours per week: 30

Expected length of contract: Temp ongoing to start ASAP

Salary: £15.40 per hour PAYE plus holiday pay, or £19.53 per hour umbrella.
