Job summary

Phoenix Futures is seeking a Housing Support Worker to assist individuals at HoSTS in Colchester. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2028, based at two sites with office-based work and parking provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care, preferably with substance use, mental health or homelessness experience.
• Evidence of effective partnership working and networking for client benefit.
• Experience managing a busy caseload or tasks and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word; familiarity with database management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of complex issues faced by people who have experienced homelessness and housing transitions.

• Support people at HoSTS to reach their goals and improve their lives.
• Contribute to tailored interventions and recovery approaches within the team.
• Work as part of a small, dedicated team to deliver tenancy sustainment support.
