Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Bank Housing Support Assistant to cover all Birmingham Intensive Housing Management Schemes, with base location in Birmingham. The role pays £13.87 per hour and runs 37.5 hours per week, supporting people with a disability in line with Sanctuary Housing’s inclusive values.

You will oversee day-to-day operations of the supported housing service, assist with tenancy management, and promote safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the supported housing service to deliver an effective housing management service.
• Assist with tenancy and void management to maintain occupancy levels.
• Support and promote compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage supplies, furniture and equipment and keep records and filing systems up to date.

Responsibilities

• Role involves managing tenancy services and occupancy levels.
• Support safeguarding policies and community care standards.
• Maintain records and use housing management systems as needed.
• Travel to various Birmingham schemes with a valid driving licence.

Education

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant area

GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent)
