Job summary

East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) is seeking a Housing Strategy and Performance Manager to lead the housing strategy and performance function and translate policy into clear strategies and measurable outcomes.

You will provide high-quality advice to senior officers and partners, develop delivery plans, and manage a small team. The role offers leadership opportunities within the Housing and Regeneration directorate.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in housing strategy, policy, or delivery planning.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into insights.
• Experience preparing reports for senior audiences and committees.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of EMCCA’s housing strategy work programme.
• Develop performance frameworks, dashboards and evidence bases.
• Coordinate and support EMCCA Housing and Land Committee and related groups.
• Lead, support and develop a small team, including budgeting and external contracts management.
