Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Homelessness Caseworker to provide high-quality housing advice, prevention and move-on support within the Housing Needs and Homelessness Service. You will manage a varied caseload, conduct statutory assessments and develop Personalised Housing Plans to prevent homelessness and secure sustainable housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Appropriate qualification in Housing, Social Care, Public Services or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
• Experience in housing/homelessness casework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver housing advice and homelessness prevention services in line with legislation.
• Manage a diverse caseload from inquiry to closure with GDPR-compliant records.
• Conduct statutory homelessness assessments and develop PHPs.
• Coordinate move-on from temporary accommodation and access housing options.
• Provide clear, professional communication with residents and partners.
