You will be responsible for a new service where you will oversee the day-to-day management of accommodation services and dispersed properties within the community.

You will be responsible for setting up, developing, and managing hostel services and dispersed accommodation within the Coventry area. Your responsibilities include staff management, including day and night staff, and service development across Coventry. The aim of these services is to enable vulnerable adults to live healthy, independent lives within communities through early targeted prevention, personalized support, and partnership working.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teams and agencies to implement pragmatic problem solving, unblock barriers, and facilitate access to various services to improve choice and control.
• Creating and managing effective professional relationships with external partners such as local authority teams and community organizations.
• Assessing sites and managing voids across services.
• Managing and developing staff, including recruitment, supervision, training, and managing absence and performance/disciplinary issues.
• Overseeing transition and resettlement plans for service users moving into independent accommodation.
• Keeping accurate records in line with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management or Health and Social Care achieved or in progress (desirable).
• Experience working with homeless individuals and within the housing sector.
• Experience managing services for vulnerable people.
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months; on the update service?
