Join Our Team as a Service Manager - Housing
Location: Wells, Somerset
Role: Part-time, 28 hours per week, between Monday-Friday, 9am–5pm.
Full-time equivalent salary - £37,406 per annum (Pro-rated for part-time hours)
As Service Manager, I lead teams across Keward House, Burcott Road and Mendip Outreach Service, delivering safe, high-quality and person-centred housing support for adults with mental health needs.
Keward House provides 19 rooms across four shared suites, Burcott Road offers 6 self-contained flats, and Mendip Outreach supports people living independently in the community. The services help individuals sustain accommodation, develop independent living skills and move towards greater independence, with support available for up to two years.
How you will make a difference as a Service Manager:
You will be responsible for the overall management of the services, including staff leadership, safeguarding, compliance, quality assurance, health and safety, risk management and service improvement. Working closely with commissioners, local authorities and partner agencies, you will ensure positive outcomes are achieved and that people receive the support they need to maintain their wellbeing, sustain tenancies and successfully move on to independent living.
