Job summary

Thirteen Group seeks a Housing Support Co-ordinator (Criminal Justice) on a fixed term contract until July 2027, covering the Durham region with some home-based work. The role sits within the Resettle North East service, funded by the Ministry of Justice, supporting people leaving custody to find secure housing and rebuild independence.

You will manage your own caseload, provide housing advice and develop tailored support plans, working with prisons, probation, local authorities and partner

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload and develop support plans.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs, housing challenges or offending histories.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals in custody and the community to overcome housing-related barriers.
• Manage your own caseload and develop tailored support plans to secure and sustain accommodation.
• Provide housing advice and tenancy guidance; assess risks and safeguarding needs.
• Collaborate with prisons, probation, local authorities and partner agencies for releases and accommodation.
• Conduct one-to-one and group sessions to build life skills and confidence.
• Maintain accurate digital records and KPIs as required by the Ministry of Justice.
