Job summary

Elevate Projects Ltd in Bristol seeks an experienced Repairs Surveyor to manage a dedicated housing patch. You will inspect properties, diagnose defects, identify root causes of damp and mould, and specify remedial works to deliver timely repairs.

In a busy social housing environment you will work with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed safely and to high standards, maintaining excellent customer service and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a surveyor within housing or similar sector.
• Proven ability to diagnose building defects and specify repairs.
• Experience managing responsive repairs and contractor performance.
• Strong report writing and IT skills; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for responsive repairs across your housing patch.
• Diagnose defects and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Investigate damp, mould, and condensation and specify remedial works.
• Produce detailed specifications and schedules of work for contractors.
• Raise works orders and instruct contractors per procedures.
• Manage repairs from inspection through to completion with safety and quality in mind.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely delivery.
