Adur & Worthing Councils is seeking a technically adept Project Officer to lead building services across our housing stock in Worthing. You will drive major repairs from feasibility to sign-off, supervise contractors, and ensure high workmanship standards while communicating clearly with residents.

The role requires an HNC/HND or equivalent, with a BSc in Building Surveying desirable, and a valid driving licence for travel across the district.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in building or construction-related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• BSc in Building Surveying is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of major repairs, void works, damp and mould remediation.
• Conduct diagnostic inspections and prepare technical specifications.
• Supervise contractors and on-site resources, ensuring value and quality.
