Homelessness and Housing Solutions Officer

Contract

£22 per hour PAYE or £30 per hour limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35

Our client is looking for an experienced Homelessness and Housing Solutions Officer.

A Homelessness Prevention Officer supports people who are homeless or at risk by assessing their needs, creating personalised housing plans, and taking practical steps to help them keep or secure accommodation. Core duties include casework, negotiating with landlords, providing advice on housing rights, linking clients with support services, and recording decisions in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

3 months contract with possible extension

2 days per week working from the office

• At least 3 years of experience in Homeless & Housing Solutions


• MUST HAVE HOMLESSNESS REDUCTION ACT 2017 AND PART 7 OF THE 1996 HOUSING ACT EXPEREINCE ***


• Require someone that has Part 7 experience more than Part 6, that they know prevention and relief and the processes for priority and non-priority need and can make the decisions and have at least 12 -24 months experience.
