Colbern Limited in Redditch is seeking an experienced Homelessness and Housing Solutions Officer for a 3-month contract with 2 days per week in the office. You will assess needs, develop personalised housing plans, negotiate with landlords, and advise on housing rights under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Part 7 of the 1996 Housing Act.

Requirements include at least 3 years in Homelessness & Housing Solutions, strong casework skills, and knowledge of prevention/relief processes.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Homelessness & Housing Solutions.
• Must have Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Part 7 of the 1996 Housing Act experience; Part 7 preferred over Part 6.
• Knowledge of prevention and relief processes; ability to make decisions with 12–24 months' relevant experience.

Our client is looking for an experienced Homelessness and Housing Solutions Officer

A Homelessness Prevention Officer supports people who are homeless or at risk by assessing their needs, creating personalised housing plans, and taking practical steps to help them keep or secure accommodation. Core duties include casework, negotiating with landlords, providing advice on housing rights, linking clients with support services, and recording decisions in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017

• At least 3 years of experience in Homeless & Housing Solutions

***MUST HAVE HOMLESSNESS REDUCTION ACT 2017 AND PART 7 OF THE 1996 HOUSING ACT EXPEREINCE ***

Require someone that has Part 7 experience more than Part 6, that they know prevention and relief and the processes for priority and non-priority need and can make the decisions and have at least 12 -24 months experience.
