Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced policy professional with a strong background in local government housing policy to shape housing services and strategy within the district. You will lead on the Local Supported Housing Strategy, analyse housing data, engage stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while strengthening performance management and statutory reporting.

Competenze

• Significant experience in policy development, strategy creation, research, performance management and data analysis.
• Experience producing reports, briefings and presentations for senior leaders and elected members.
• Strong understanding of local government housing services and regulatory landscape.
• Ability to translate complex data into practical policy recommendations and service improvements.

Mansioni

• Lead development of the Council's Local Supported Housing Strategy in line with legislative requirements and emerging needs.
• Conduct detailed research and needs analysis on housing supply, demand and demographics across the district.
• Develop evidence-based policy recommendations to support service improvement and strategic decisions.
• Consult with tenants, residents, community groups and partners to reflect local priorities.
• Coordinate reviews of housing policies ensuring compliance with changing legislation and best practice.
• Develop and maintain the Property & Housing Services performance management framework.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement, and produce performance reports for senior leaders.
• Support governance processes, corporate planning and regulatory obligations, including inspections.
