Pembrokeshire County Council in Haverfordwest is recruiting for a Housing Advice role within the Housing Advice Team. You will gather and accurately record all relevant information about customers' housing circumstances to assess needs and prevent homelessness wherever possible.

The successful candidate will interview and advise people at risk of homelessness, explain eligibility for housing assistance, and carry out statutory prevention and homelessness assessments under the Housing Wales Act

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to degree level and/or hold a housing qualification (CIH Level 4).

Responsabilités

• Gather and accurately record information about customers' housing circumstances.
• Interview and advise persons at risk of homelessness to prevent homelessness.
• Provide information on eligibility for housing assistance and alternative housing solutions.
• Carry out statutory prevention and homelessness assessments under the Housing Wales Act 2014.
• Manage a caseload of customers deemed homeless or at risk.
