Job summary

Qualifications

• Education to at least A level or NVQ4 and commitment to professional development.
• Ability to interpret homelessness legislation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and information to applicants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
• Progress housing applications under relevant legislation and schemes.
• Carry out assessments and create personalised housing plans.
• Decide on duties owed and make appropriate referrals to partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate records using the case management system.
• Assist applicants to access the private rented sector and support tenancy deposits.
